Until then I never moaned, rather proud of me, I spent the winter quietly, taking it as it was. After all Ferdy, you’re used to it, it’s your sixth winter in Canada!
Since mid-March, I have packed my big coats and my snow boots! Little fine coat and small boots took over. I do not look at the weather of the week, I know it’s the end! Spring arrives then why stubborn with predictions? We had our first snow on October 31 , I remember it very well! I was not ready at all, I did not have my winter tires, my gloves or my broom in the car! You better prepare for the Canadian winter!

Depuis le 31 Octobre 2017, c’est du NON stop ! Entre neige et froid extrême, cette année l’hiver a été rude et, surtout très très long ! On est au sixième mois de l’hiver, sixième !
Je préviens souvent les nouveaux expatriés sur les conditions de l’hiver, j’en ai parlé ici et ici. Le problème de l’hiver au Canada n’est ni sa neige, ni ses températures extrêmes, mais sa durée ! Ça joue sur le moral, c’est juste usant ! Car vraiment à la fin, on n’y croit plus ! Et lorsque j’ai regardé mon application ce matin et que j’ai vu ces prévisions, j’ai voulu envoyé un énorme LOL à dame météo ! 🙂 Vous y croyez vous ? Passer de cette tempête à des températures positives à deux chiffres tout ensoleillé ?
